Aloe affinis Large plant 1 meter in diameter. Flowers dense, bright pink flowers opening as raceme grows. long flowering  time.
Aloe aristata Small 25cm  dense rosette. Very hardy.  Forms suckers  freely. Very good popular potplant world-wide.
A.buhrii Rosette 40-50 cm. The leaves shade in different hues of green blue and pink, when in full sun. Only a few faint flecks.  The bright  yellow flowers bloom in early summer - late spring.

Aloe camperi

Aloe branddraaiensis Flecked leaves. Rosette 40 cm.  Short racemes with red flowers often 50 racemes on one inflorescens.  Hardy but will withstand light frost only.
Aloe camperi Short stem. Forms offshoots. A very easy aloe from Ethiopia. Plants just over a metre high. As can be seen on the photo, flowers are beautiful.  On the photo is Aloe camperi cornuta. Aloe camperi has a weaker stem and narrow curving leaves.  The plants tend to grow in a bush form supporting each other.

Aloe dyeri A large maculate aloe 2 meters wide. Easy growing shade loving.   40-50 racemes coral pink.  This aloe will grow under trees where other plants do not grow.

Aloe grandidentata An easy maculated aloe for the garden.Aloe grandidentata can withstand light frost.
Aloe greenii Interesting patterned bright green flecked aloe. The rosette does not have many leaves and seems smaller than it is.  Very easy to grow forming offshoots freely. The flowers are pink with a dull powder-like coating.
Aloe maculata Maculated aloe on average  a 40 cm rosette. It is very hardy and forms offshoots freely. Previously known as Aloe saponaria. Flowers are in a variety colors and shades of,   red - orange to yellow. The gel of this plant is excellent quality.          for information on gel

Aloe jucunda This small hardy aloe grows easy in pots as well as in the garden.
Aloe microstigma This aloe has fine dots and large flowers for the size of the rosette. Flowers can be any shade of orange to red opening yellow or yellow. A.microstigma is from the Karoo.  It needs very little water, the rainfall will be enough.
Aloe petrophila A small rare aloe. The rosette is not more than 30 cm.   As can be seen on the photo, the flowers are pretty in striped pink with green tips.
