Aloe rupestris    (South Africa)

  Aloe rupestris is a fast growing large tree aloe with very showy flowers

This succulent tree aloe has a wide distribution in the middle- north and eastern parts of the country - that is in summer rainfall areas. 
It is a popular hardy, easy tree aloe from the northern parts of South Africa that has been planted in gardens as far south as Cape Town,   where it grows very well in the winter rainfall  and dry hot summer climate of the Boland and South  Western Cape

   The red stamens give a very attractive effect.
