Aloe zebrina   (South Africa)

A.zebrina is a very easy going small maculated aloe plant.

Both surfaces of the leaves have irregular white spots in rows.
In natural conditions the tips of the leaves dry out in summer forming an attractive curl.
The racemes of Aloe zebrina are laxly flowered with pale red/pink  striped, relative small.flowers.
The A.zebrina plants are stemless and form small groups from offsets at the base.

Zebrina needs no special attention and it is frost resistant in in a dry climate.
It is very hardy when grown in full sun with the minimum water.

The photo of  Aloe zebrina to the right  shows the dry conditions which this aloe can withstand.
Note the curls of the dry leaf tips.
